Due to continued success and growth we are currently looking for a Process Engineer help assist within our Tube Foundry, as a process engineer you will be primarily focused on optimisation and managing of our Tube Foundry processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that operations are safe, efficient and cost-effective.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Safety: Develop and implement safety protocols to protect workers, the environment, and the public
- Process optimisation: Analise and improve processes to reduce costs and improve quality
- Process Improvements: Evaluate existing processes and lead process improvement projects to develop best practices within the production.
- Equipment management: Test, maintain, and oversee the commissioning of equipment
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical team and track progress of R&D trials.
- Compliance: Ensure the factory complies with local and national regulations
- Training: Train operators and other engineers
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve inefficiencies or quality issues
You will need to posses critical and logical thinking skills and problem-solving skills as well as:
- Ability to work calmly in emergency and high-pressure situations
- Ability to lead, manage and persuade others to change work practices
- In-depth understanding of process engineering software and systems
You ideally will be educated to degree level or have a strong background with in a Foundry environment.
Understanding of materials science and engineering.
Being able to apply statistical methods in data analysis.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
A strong understanding of health & safety, and quality standards.
