CNC Machinist

We are currently looking for individuals to join the Machine Shop team as General Machinists to assist with the boring and preparation of cast tubes.

Regular overtime including weekends up to Double time (Sundays)

Ideally we are looking for individual who have experience using a range of machinery (Saws, Drills and hand tools) other machine shop experience will be considers as training can be provided for the right candidate.

You will be required to:

• Ensure the reduction or elimination of any rework for surface finish.
• Data collection i.e., recording of measurements before and after boring.
• Visual inspection on bore finish.
• On/off loading of tubes from racks and storage using overhead crane.
• Understanding of quality issues and ability to make necessary adjustments to ensure tubes pass.
• Familiarity with modern management techniques such as TPM and 5s.
• Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures.
