Due to considerable business growth, we are you currently looking for a Quality Technician to provide additional support the FVC Quality Manager.
You will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Complete and correct implementation of all quality control requirements within the FVC and FVD Sheffield sites to promote and ensure that a Quality-focused culture is effectively implemented driving improved performance and customer satisfaction in the day-to-day process.
- As directed by Quality Manager, create techniques and standard operating practice documents in a timely manner, Act on any revisions required as directed by production or by the Technical Dept.
- Ensure that the existing FVC quality system and contract requirements are communicated effectively.
- Compiling and processing relevant documentation for customer and product qualifications.
- Creation of certificates of conformity, ensuring product meets customer requirements before release.
- Issuing salvage plans for defective product.
- Looking after the mechanical testing and the associated process.
- Ensuring robust corrective actions are identified in relation to the root cause of investigations and implementation of the actions are effective in response to customer complaints and internal non-conformances.
- To promote the importance of improving our cost of quality performance throughout the business unit, delivering training where required.
- Participation in department quality meetings.
- Preparation and presentation of quality statistics reports and data.
- Assist with audits in accordance with the Paralloy Ltd Group schedule.
- Support the FVC NADCAP audit program.
You will need to be structured, disciplined and self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team.
with a proactive and assertive approach in addition to strong organisational and prioritisation skills, whilst able to perform within tight deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Full working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
